twenty three.

Okay.  So obviously I have been a slacker when it comes to completing this idea of mine for the month of March!  I'm just now writing number 23 and today is now March 30th.  The reason for this is that I am currently on Spring Break and enjoying every minute of having a break from real life (more to come about that)!  I'm not even busy really... I just don't have much of a schedule so that means I slack off.  Thanks to Meagan for commenting and letting me know someone is actually paying attention to what I'm writing (or not writing)!

Today I think it would be appropriate to let you all know that I have a hard time completing projects.  I often get ideas for new projects or hobbies that I want to start.  I get super motivated and really excited and that's all I can think about.  I usually do really well for a while, but then I think of a new project and start working on it, and the old one falls behind.  I don't mean to do it and I don't like that I do it, but it happens.

Here are some examples.
*First of all, this current 31 Days of Me project.  As I mentioned, today makes day 30 and I'm only writing fact #23 about myself.  Maybe my procrastination problem is also at play here?
*My Project 365... the goal was to take a picture every day of the year.  I made it to day 123 - not even half way!  I still love the idea, but if I try again I might not post it as a blog... that's just one less thing I'd have to remember to do!
*My Etsy shop (GlamAccents).  I still love that I have this shop but I need to continue to make jewelry and accessories that I can sell!
*During the summer I bought a guitar.  I had no idea how to play but was motivated to teach myself.  I did well during at first but since I moved to Cali I hadn't even picked up the guitar!  Finally a few weeks ago I blew off the dust and picked out a few notes again, but I hardly remembered anything!
*A few years ago I learned how to digital scrapbook.  I thought it was amazing (still do) and was addicted.  I was constantly on my laptop downloading products and making pages.  I guess life got in the way... I still love to do it but I am much more motivated if I have a specific project I'm trying to finish.

See what I mean?  That's all I can think of right now, but as you can see it's a pretty good list!  Let me say that I still enjoy all of these projects/hobbies.  I just need to figure out a way to stay focused and once I start projects I need to see them through to the end!

(Sorry... didn't mean for this one to be so long!)
