I am thankful...
for modern technology.
Even though I live 600 miles away from home, I can still call, chat, read blogs, email, Skype, and text anyone back home whenever I want. It's amazing that I can communicate with family and friends at any time and feel like I am not very far away!

I agree, it makes it a little easier to live far away, even though we do wish we lived closer to family.
