Picnic Time!

This week my niece and nephew have been staying at our house because my sister and her husband went to Vermont. Tonight we went up Little Cottonwood Canyon to Tanner Flat to have a picnic for dinner. It was fun to do something a little different for dinner. After we ate, we found a small trail that led us to a really pretty opening and a little stream. The drive home was so funny, because Kaitlyn was repeating everything we were saying... I think her favorite phrase to say was "whatever dude!" I have also successfully taught her how to speak in a new language. She is very good at making up new words that sound funny. We had fun going back and forth speaking to each other in our goofy language! Michael was pretty tired, but he enjoyed watching us all laugh and have a good time. These kids are so sweet, and it has been so fun having them around!

That would be fun to have the kiddos stay! Sounds like your summer has been quite the successful one! Oh and your post below of the congregation ironically standing at the same time you asked Gina is HILLARIOUS!! Glad to see you are doing so well.
