Mod Podged Star

I had some paper and Mod Podge leftover from my coffee table tray project, so I had to put it to some good use!

Materials needed:
Unfinished wood star
Sandpaper
Mod Podge
Foam brush
1 12x12 piece of scrapbook paper
Scissors

Start off with the wood star from Michael's and sand down the edges:

Paint it black (because some of the wood will show through from paper) and let dry:

Next trace one of the sides of the triangle and cut out 10 of these triangles (well, 5 for each of the sides of the triangle):

Mod Podge each of the paper triangles onto the star and then put another coat of Mod Podge over the top to make a good finish over everything:

Now pair it with a vinyl wall decal (I got mine from Ross for only $5.99)... and enjoy!
