This was a busy weekend but I had a blast. I seriously love my family and am so proud to be a part of them.
Thursday afternoon I flew with my parents to San Diego for my Grandpa Dahl's funeral. My dad was wondering how he was going to manage the trip, but once we got him on a wheelchair we got special treatment the whole way! I would highly recommend flying with someone in a wheelchair. You don't have to wait in any lines, you get to pre-board the plane, and you get the best seats on the plane!
The weather was absolutely perfect in California. On Friday we had a viewing and funeral in San Marcos, a luncheon afterward, and spent the rest of the night at my Grandpa's house visiting and laughing with family. Here I am with my cousin Emily (one of my two girl cousins!):
We flew back to SLC on Saturday and the family trickled in also. By Sunday night we had 32 people at my parents' house for dinner and dessert. It was very loud and crazy, but very fun!
On Monday we had another viewing and funeral in Sandy. My Grandpa was buried in West Jordan and it was a very good service:
