Family Camping Trip

Two weekends ago my family went up Big Cottonwood Canyon to go camping at the Spruces. It was so nice to go there because it was only about a half-hour away from home, but it felt like we were on vacation! We were there for three days, and did nothing but relax, which was wonderful!

We went on a walk around Silver Lake at the top of the canyon:

There was a river than ran by our campsite and was lots of fun to throw rocks into!

Michael was the happiest little guy the whole time!

We had amazing dutch oven food! Potatoes, chicken, bacon, breakfast burritoes, and we couldn't forget s'mores around the campfire at nights!
