Summer 2012 Trip #2: Rexburg, ID

The day after I got back from my cruise, I went with my sister Lori and her family to Rexburg for 5 days (July 19-23).  My brother-in-law Todd had a work conference, so Lori and I played with the kids while he was busy with work things.

Here's a few of the highlights from this trip:

We went to Big Jud's for dinner one night and Todd tried the One Pound challenge.  Check out his hamburger!  He didn't eat it all, but said he could have easily... just didn't want to be sick!

We stayed in a nice hotel on the edge of town.  This was our view of the Rexburg temple from our room window:

We went swimming every day at the hotel before heading out on the town.  My nieces Brooklyn and Savannah got really great at posing for the camera.  I think this picture is hilarious!

We found Porter Park (which I'm sure was named after my nephew!) which had a great splash park and carousel.  We went there two different days and had a lot of fun!

We also walked around the Rexburg LDS temple one night.  It is so pretty!

We also went to to Yellowstone National Park one day, but I'll save those pictures for their own post because there are too many!

Porter is so BIG! I can't believe it. what a fun trip! We play with Rob&Jami's baby Cal and he is so fun. I'm sure he'll have some good poses for the camera, just like those girls! So fun! We should get together sometime. When are you running your next race? Maybe I'll join you... (not sure I should commit in writing, but oh well). :)
