(1) These flowers (or weeds?) are everywhere in my neighborhood:
...and I mean everywhere! There are lots of rolling hills around where I live that are usually very green, but they are slowly turning yellow and I love it.
(2) I got a pedicure which was well overdue and it was glorious. And I do believe this bright orange color is the perfect choice for summer!
(3) I went to a fireside with these fun girls from my ward. The speaker was... interesting... to say the least! But we were challenged to go an entire week being grateful for everything, even those things that we really don't like in life.
(4) One of my new favorite treats is mangoes with lime and chili powder on top. Delicious!
(5) This week the girls in my ward started reading the Book of Mormon and our goal is to finish by the end of the year. We are marking every time God is mentioned, so that we can be reminded that it is truly Another Testament of Jesus Christ. I'm 6 chapters in and there have been 75 references... it's a great experience so far!
(6) I joined a hiking club with my friend Christina. It starts April 30 and should be interesting... since I don't exactly like hiking. But I know there are lots of great trails around here and I know otherwise I would never go. I'm telling myself it will be a good and different way to see this city!
(7) Okay I think this is the last one. I bought the new Adele CD a few days ago. I didn't think I really liked her music... it's not the typical type I usually go for. But now I have to admit absolutely love it! She is honestly talented and her voice is somewhat haunting. I find myself listening to her music every chance I get... this is one of my favorites: "He Won't Go"
